I've been taking lotsa pictures with my phone over the month and I thought I'd share out these random photos I took while outside.

9 October 2008
@ Foch Rd. Just thought I'd take a picture of my car while I'm waiting for my dad... (look at the reflections!) Anyways, my dream car is a Porsche; will drive one, one day.
@ Golden Mile Complex. Canvas shoes at S$1.00. Dun say I never tell you...
11 October 2008
@ Marina Square's Pariss International Seafood Buffet. Dinner with TonicBabe. $97 for 2 pax. Worth the deal. Oysters, Crabs, Prawns, Scallops, and most importantly Ebi Tempura!
15 October 2008
@ Specky Western Food, Blk 820, Tampines Street 81. Thomas's (a.k.a. the Evil Cook; Self-proclaimed) friend opened a Western Food store there. I was invited down (more like cheated down) there to patronize the opening. Ordered grilled fish. Good stuff! 4 stars out of 5 stars (there's nothing perfect in the world). Forget Austons'; I hate queuing, and food sux when the chef rushes.
17 October 2008
@ the Vets. Took Pappy to the Vets to get treated for "Hot Spots". Minor cut + baterial infections resulted in the wound getting infectioned and spreaded. So was left with no choice but to have the Vet cropped off his hair so as to properly clean the wound. Veterinarian was a sweet girl~ and the bill was a sweet S$75.oh, while waiting, I fell more in love with Cats. There was this poster at the glass panel at the clinic...

Tiger Cat. Cute.

@ No.93 Defu Lane 10. Got nothing to do, so drive around and decided to recce out Seafood Paradise. Striking blue and yellow building. You wouldn't miss it. Then went to one of my favourite toy store to pre-order Nendoroid Yoshika Miyafuki. then hands itchy, so thought I'd try out one of these boxes of Nendoroid Petit series of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya"... random puchi Nendoroid inside.... and I got Haruhi~! Yay~ oh, and I picked up a set of these too~! Baby Sesame Street Characters! Kawaii deshou?! Gonna give them away... (The black stuff underneath is my handphone case). 29 October 2008

Figurine Photography

Figurine Photography
Well, following my last post on Figurine Photography... this picture of Hatsune Miku Nendoroid below, which I took in a oh-so-very-nice-cafe was probably the most satisfactory shot of all my figurines till date.

Got such a shot purely by luck, using my not-worth-mentioning Casio EX-Z600 digital camera.
I just happened to be in the cafe at the right timing, with the right amount of sun light from outside the windows and many many other by-luck factors.

But just to show some extremely fine examples of how good those experts are with their SLRs / DSLRs........

Below pictures from HAPPYSODA: Do check out the awesome website!

Ryuna of Shining Tears x Wind
Pictures speaks for themselves. I am too noobie to comment. They just wow me so much.
Blanc Neige of Shining Tears x Wind
the mirror-usage is ingenious!
and not forgetting DIAS LEONG's shots  (click for more pictures!)
Shuraki - Akatsuki Mishiro
I am so gonna get a DSLR for myself.... love taking photos... xD

Figure Worshipper

Figure Worshipper
Original post via Dannychoo:

Anyone of you with photography as your hobby? What about figurines / toys photography?
I've been trying to get my hands on a DSLR for some nice photos, but just hesitate at the monetary damage that's gonna set me back by.

Do check out the "Photography" tag on my archive for my previous posts.

I'm gonna post up some nice close-up shots of figurines / toys in my next post...

Yoshika Miyafuji

Yoshika Miyafuji
More information via GOODSMILE COMPANY:
I know its too fast, but I'm gonna get my hands on this too!
Yoshika Miyafuji is the protagonist in the pantsu-filled anime STRIKE WITCHES.
Miyafuji's in her swimsuit underneath though, not pantsu... unlike others.
And here's Miyafuji in her battle mode -- Ears, Tails (behind) and her Strike Unit on the legs. .. oh, and the Tommy gun!
the Nendoroid set also comes with a stand which allows her to pose in flying stance!

This kawaii Nendoroid is available for pre-order via HobbySearch @ less than 4000yen and will be release by Feb 2009.

Now, if only the entire 501st Joint Fighter Wing gals are Nendoroidize!!! Gotta collect them all!!!

Japanese Vending Machines

Japanese Vending Machines
via Otaku International, here and here:

Japanese ingenuity at its peak... they have everything you need.

for the busy city folks who couldn't make it in time before the stores close...
Singapore could do with more of this... its raining every so often...
Now you can buy flowers 24/7... FLIGHT INSURANCE VENDING MACHINE?
Conveniently purchase flight/travel insurance at the boarding gate in Tokyo...
I would think these actually dispense receipts so you can go to a certain stall to collect your hot bowl of ramen... but looking at the huge square door at the bottom left of the vending machine tells me otherwise...
Ok, this is funny, insert the coins and press the button. Then you'll see the tray turn, and the bag of eggs you selected gets pushed into the dispensing chute... and *piak!* you can then collect a pile of mess down there...
Kinky~ I've seen these little machines while I was in tokyo. They're conveniently situated inside the gents... along with those tissue dispensers. Really convenient... (I think buying a packet of condom off convenient stores like 7-Eleven is pretty awkward... considering the girl behind the counter would give you those kinda looks...)
I might wanna ask some of my female friends on this: would you buy lingerine off vending machines without trying? Perhaps yes when you are in situations where its "better-than-nothing"?
(Read: P.O.R.N.)
I love Japan. xD Good for those lonely nites... but just how do they stop those little kids from getting their hands on these?
Alrite, this isn't exactly a vending machine... its an "UFO-Catcher", but instead of plushies, you've got fresh live lobsters as your opponent. Impossible to catch you say? You know what? I will crush them to death first...
