IREZUMI

IREZUMI
Original post from SankakuComplex:

Rie Gomita of Osaka recently captured the attention of the world's cameras with this extremely tasteful display of a traditional Japanese tattoo, or Irezumi. She was displayed at the recent International London Tattoo Convention. Probably the only nice bon bon walking around, as the rest of the convention displays consists of the usual tattoo maniac freak show...

Pretty Lady Looking For Rich Guy

Pretty Lady Looking For Rich Guy
Published by Agnes Tan @ Singapore:

A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum:

Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy?

I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to say here:

I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style and good taste.

I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York.

My requirement is not high:
Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary?
Are you all married?

I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you?

Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York City Garden, $250k annual income is not enough.

I'm here humbly to ask a few questions:

1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym)

2) Which age group should I target?

3) Why most wives of the riches is only average-looking? I've met a few girls who doesn't have looks and are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys.

4) How do you decide who can be your wife, and who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)

AND SO, A GUY GAVE AN AWESOME REPLY...

Dear Ms. Pretty,

I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours.

Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor.

My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I'm not wasting time here.

From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you.
The answer is very simple, so let me explain.

Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" and "money":
Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square.

However, there's a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason.

The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can't be prettier year after year.

Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation.

If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried 10 years later.

By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a "trading position". If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted.

It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or "leased".

Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you.

I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy.

And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.

Hope this reply helps.

Was doing some minor research on Penang Malaysia and I was on one of Asia Web Direct sites when I stumbled upon some errors that I definitely cannot get over with...

The fella who did this site is apparently not local, cause Char Kway Teow is a mistake not many locals can make...

Well I promptly wrote them a feedback, lets see if they respond...

Oh, ever know there is a Paradise Centre in Selegie?

Mee Rebus @ Giants Hypermart at Tampines... Failed.
Grocery shopping with my parents...
I always wanted to get my hands on these pre-inked rubber stamps, but they're always in the wrong combination; those that I want are always mixed with those that I do not want... luckily, here at Giants, several of these cases were already messed up by other customers, so I managed to "Mix & Match" myself one of this~! ^^
Seriously, I'd rather the froggies were kept alive, cuz if these were not sold in a couple of days, it'd probably be discarded... and their lives wasted.
Some say the food at Giants are fresh... but it all depends on how you look at it...
to me, I think this place is gruesome...
mum bought a parrot fish for dinner... I didn't eat it....
I'd like to bring my readers attention to this particular place:
The Japanese stall "KS Japanese" @ The Central foodcourt. I had the worst Japanese food in so many years! First of all, I ordered for the Ebi Tempura Curry Udon for the very sole reason that the picture in the menu showed 3 pieces of Ebi Tempura atop the Curry Udon. When it was served, there were only 2 pieces of Ebi Tempura.
I had to argue with the chef-cum-cashier male fella that the menu showed 3 pieces of Ebi Tempura and I even resorted to holding the menu in front of that fella's face and asked him to count the prawns. Here's the conversation:

Me: Please count how many Ebi Tempura you see in the menu.

Staff: We always serve 2 pieces (of Ebi Tempura). If you want 3 pieces (of Ebi Tempura), then you will have to tell me, and I will have to remove the vegetables (vege-tempura).

Me: Ok, I want 3 pieces of Ebi Tempura.

Staff: Ok lor.

And that staff took my bowl of Ebi Tempura Curry Udon back, took out the vege-tempuras, and threw another piece of Ebi Tempura back into the bowl. Then he returned to me and literally drop the bowl on my tray. Then he turned and walked away. HOW RUDE!

I did finally get my 3 pieces of Ebi Tempura, but the entire dish suck so bad! The Ebi Tempura were fried quite some time ago, so they are cold and soggy. Then the Udon are a little hard, and there was simply too little curry gravy in the bowl! If you look at the photo below, you could hardly see the curry right?

Final Verdict: KS Japanese stall at The Central FoodCourt = MEGA FAIL. FOOD SUCKS, STAFF IS RUDE.

Q: I guess the "KS" in the stall name stands for "Kana-Sai".
10 September 2009

11 September 2009
9:44am @ Suntec City Atrium... well its those 4 days of Comex 2009...
I hooked up with my ex-ex company for a little part-time assignment @ the singtel (yuck) roadshow.
Oh there's Randall the emcee... U guys tried out the simulator yet? I tell you, save the hassle... it sucks. You are better off playing Daytona or Ridge Racer in the video arcade then this simulator. U had to be a singtel (yuck) customer, then queue like F*** to get into the cockpit... then u'll come face to face with a jerky program with confusion roads, and the seat has no cushion. That means if you crash, (not because you can't drive, but you can't tell where the road turns thanks to the lousy program) the machine will fling you around in the cockpit and you'll end up with bruises on your hips and bums...
I spent the next 3 days "on-standby" here...
Just making sure things ran smoothly...
The Hi Buddy... poor fella in the mascot... you know how hot it is inside? And how smelly? Just imagine the smell of sweat all trapped inside the mascot... and when the fella takes down the head-gear and the sweat vapour pours out... Ewww~~~
The guys doing the mascot had to use Febreeze to keep the mascot from stinking... but we guys had lotsa fun playing with the mascot~ ^^
had a chance during breaktime to sneak upstairs to the Comex... just look at the crowd~ omg~
Behind the DJ counter...
whoever had worked with singtel (yucks) knew very well that the "packet meals provide" at their roadshow sucks so much, that even pre-packed sushi looked like heavenly-level food there... I had 4 pairs of eyes on me as I had my lunch...
13 September 2009
10:18pm... Tearing down the site... these are the professionals who work behind the scenes...
11:14pm... upstairs @ level 2 ballroom... its a mess upstairs as different vendors came in to tear down and bring back their loaned stuffs...
... and this was how much rubbish was on the floor that night... upstairs at level 4 and 6 were even worse...
14 September 2009
Handsome Suit! Have you watch this show yet? Its a really adorable and sweet show~
