10 - 17 April 2009... I was in Samarinda, Indonesia, for a week of sight-seeing...
18 April 2009...
Dinner alone at home... Hor Fun with Egg~ yummy~
10:16pm... @ the carwash... getting ready for a good date on sunday~
19 April 2009... @ Tampines Mall for the Japanese comedy "Handsome Suit"~ Hilarious~!4:39pm... headed for the new Tampines 1~Lunched @ Manpuku Japanese restaurant... they're using the credit-card system similar to that of Marche's...Lovely display of Japanese food~
Ordered this...
and followed up with dessert~
Only minus point is Manpuku's lack of fire safety awareness... like this chained up fire exit door...
and unused furnitures stacked up blocking another fire exit door...
21 April 2009... @ Kitchen fixing up a Mango Lassi~
you'll need 1 large mango...
Cut them up into smaller pieces... (or scoop them out into a bowl using a spoon, like I did...)
a tub of natural yogurt~
a blender...
Mix 200ml of water, with 200ml of yogurt, and half a mango...
Serves 2 persons~ ( ^_^ )b22 April 2009... mum made beancurd dessert... yummy~22 April 2009... @ CBD... was in town and I happened to have enough time to try out this new road... or viaduct if you'd call it... this road leads all the way up and above the traffic below and takes you straight down to CTE-SLE @ Chinatown... cool~
23 April 2009... @ Takashimaya Shopping Centre...
went to the JTB (or Japan Tourist Board, I think...)~ helping my parents make arrangements for their Japan trip... for your information, the JTB travel agency, which is located in TSC, offers you trips to Japan @ cheapers rates than what you can find in most agencies out there... for all I know, JTB is able to offer us S$380+ per person on a domestic flight in Japan, at a more flexible timing, than SA-Tours offering the same flight route at S$550+ at weird timings... Look for Izumi-san...
4:25pm... Lunch at Taka's food court...I love Fried Ebi...
24 April 2009... bought me a package of Ruffles... for the record, I love my chips cold~ so it goes into the fridge first thing...
8:36pm... @ Junction 8~ trying out throwing the 3 horseshoes at the pole... I got 2 horseshoes in completely, but the last one hooked halfway and landed standing up... 2 and a half result~Got this as a prize~ keke
25 April 2009... Hokkien Mee @ Parkway Parade... 4 stars~
27 April... @ IKEA... I am a regular there... this lamp is very interesting... its kinda touch-sensored... touch the horizontal bar and it switches on or off... touch and hold, and the lights dims or brightens... damn cool~
28 April 2009... @ Changi Airport Terminal 2's staff canteen... decided to try this White Fried Kway Teow for dinner~
Not bad~
29 April - 02 May 2009... headed to Bali~ White Water Rafting is a must try activity.
