WOOT~!
Woot~! woot woot~ wooooooot~~~~~!
Yea, there was a period of time where the internet gaming realm is filled with this "woot" thingy. . . even I was influenced to a point where "woot" became my standard greeting message every time i enter the gaming arena.
BUT! What does "woot" exactly means? Someone asked me this question before and I dunno how to answer him. . . its like the "leh" "lor" "wor" "lah" "mah" in the Singlish language. . .
Ah~ now I know. . . my colleague gave me a very valuable information. "Woot" orignates from the early Counter-Strike era (was its Rainbow-6?) when 2 sides of team pit against one another. . . where the winning team will go . . .
WOOT!

Kaziranga Tiger Attack
This kitty sure can jump. . .
Kaziranga, Assam, June 09 : Delayed reports from the field and video replays of the attack by the tigress on the mahout Satya Pegu, tell a different story, where human lives were saved purely due to “quick thinking” by the female working elephant, Joymala.
For those who came in late, a large adult tigress, suspected to be the mother of the two cubs rescued from Tamuli Pathar village(adjoining Kaziranga) on May 16, severely mauled the mahout of an Assam forest department elephant, which was carrying rangers trying to dart her on the morning of May 19.
The 25-year-old mahout, Satya Pegu, who was badly lacerated, lost three fingers on his left hand, is in a hospital in Dibrugarh. Doctors are worried about the onset of gangrene and may have to amputate his left palm. The Wildlife Trust of India and its partner, the International Fund for Animal Welfare have offered to cover his medical expenses.
Reconstruction of events and a video taken by the divisional forest officer, R.K.Das, graphically show how Joymala pinned down the tigress with her foot as it was trying to get up and attack the officers who had fallen on the ground.
The reconstructed story goes a bit like this: the forest department received a message early on May 19th about a large tiger which had killed two cows near Tamuli Pathar village, which is close to the boundary of the Kaziranga National Park (KNP) in the north-eastern Assam state.
By 10 am a joint team of the Assam forest department including the director of the park, Mr N. K. Vasu, the local administration, police and the army, and the Wildlife Trust of India(WTI)-managed Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) was combing the area with five elephants trying to locate the animal.
File photo of the team that darted the tigers. Second from left is D.D.Boro who darted both tigers but missed the suspected mother, who later mauled the mahout.
“From the pugmarks, it looked like a very large female, which led us to suspect that this may be the mother of the two cubs that we had rescued and released on Monday,” Dr Bhaskar Choudhary, CWRC veterinarian, who was involved in darting the two sub-adult tigers on Sunday, said. The tigers were released late on Monday evening in the eastern part of the Agoratuli range near the Matiaranga guard hut.
“After looking around everywhere, we first spotted the tigress in a bamboo grove near the village. As it sensed our presence it moved into the backyard of a hut and then quickly walked into a nearby paddy field,” Dr Chaudhary said.
Range officer, Dharanidhar Bodo, Dr Chaudhary along with a guard were riding the elephant, Joymala, driven by Pegu. Bodo was carrying the darting gun. As the elephant moved towards the tigress, it did a mock charge. The guard fired two blanks to discourage her and she ran away into the next field, where the paddy was thick and hid there.
The team cautiously moved towards it and could get to almost 20 feet where she was growling away. Bodo could see her clearly and took a shot at it with the dart gun. The dart missed her and this enraged her so much that she charged and took a “flying” leap on to the elephant’s head. “I have not seen something as dramatic as this,” Vivek Menon, executive director WTI, who recently saw the footage, said. “I could never imagine that a tiger could so effortlessly leap from the ground on to an adult elephant’s head, which is at least 12 feet above the ground,” he said.
The footage showed that Pegu saw the tigress leaping and threw the metal ankush at it to defend himself. “The tigress saw the ankush coming, dodged it in mid-leap and took a swipe at Pegu without actually landing on the elephant, which had stepped back,” Menon said.
“It all happened in a few seconds and before we knew what both Bodo and the guard had fallen down,” Dr Choudhary narrated. What now happened was even more amazing. As the tigress landed on the ground Joymala quickly pinned her down with her left fore foot and tried to control it with its trunk. The tigress struggled under this weight for at least half a minute roaring, as other people in the vicinity shouted and fired shots in the air. In this commotion another attempt was made to dart it, but even this shot was off the mark. The tigress finally struggled loose and ran away.
“If it had not been for Joymala, both Bodo and the guard would have been badly injured or dead,” he said. Meanwhile, Joymala, which was trying to aggressively chase the tigress, was calmed by the CWRC veterinarian, who was holding on to the profusely bleeding mahout. “His fingers were hanging by few shreds of tissue and I tried to tourniquet the wounds,” he said.
The two sub-adult tigers had strayed out of the heavily wooded Agoratuli range of the KNP into the neighbouring Tamuli Pathar village close to the national highway. It was speculated that the mother could be nearby, but she could not be spotted.
KNP has one of the highest density of tigers among the protected areas in India , but are difficult to see due to the thick vegetation in this grassland dominated park.
The Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) is a joint venture of the Assam forest department and the Wildlife Trust of India, and is supported by its partner the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW). This rescue and rehabilitation facility for animals of the region is a first of its kind facility in India has handled over 300 animals in the last two years including mega-herbivores like elephants, rhinos and wild buffaloes. These were the first tigers brought to the facility in two years of its existence.

TRANSFORMERS 2?
That’s what I think gonna materialize in time to come.
Why?
Because the plot left room for a part 2 (or there even a plot? It’s the same old story alright~). Megatron was fused with that cube / heat-source thingy (man I forgotten what its called), I mean its one hot stuff, and you dump him (was it a him? Funny how come there’s no GIRL transformer, like one in a candy-pink Porsche or something. . . alrite~ pink is stereotypical thinking. . . *slap myself*) back into the depths of the ocean . . . in ONE piece. . . wtf? (couldn’t the US have reverse-engineer that stuff?)
Well, that hot stuff in his chest’s probably gonna keep him warm throughout the dip. . .
I guess he’s gonna come back with more force . . . I remember Deceptorcons (was it spelt this way?) do come in Marine versions. . . (no, that was the Japanese version – Transformers Masterforce, my favourite).
Reminds me of “Terror from the Deep”, this X-COM series. Part one was Enemy Unknown, and part two was “Terror from the Deep”, where the Aliens now return from the depths of the oceans instead of having had crash-landed on land. . . well they crashed into the oceans in part one and no one’s heard of them since. . . whew, it’s the best PC game I have ever played all these years. Replay value is 1000%. You can play 10 times and will never get sick of this game.
Well, back to Transformers, I guess the one logical reality reason is because I dun expect the computer graphics team to just disband like this after just one movie. There’s probably gonna be more projects for them lined up. Transformers still has lotsa characters haven turned up yet. Especially those that can morph and combine into an even larger unit. That’s gonna be really cool.
Kudos especially to the music effects team.

Memo to All Employees
In order to ensure the highest levels of quality work and productivity from employees, it will be our policy to keep all employees well trained through our program of SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (S.H.I.T) .
We are trying to give our employees more S.H.I.T than anyone else. If you feel that you do not receive your share of S.H.I.T on the course, please see your supervisor. You will be immediately placed at the top of the S.H.I.T list and our supervisors are especially skilled at seeing you get all the S.H.I.T you can handle.
Employees who don't take their S.H.I.T will be placed in DEPARTMENTAL EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROGRAMS (D.E.E.P.S.H.I.T) .
Those who fail to take D.E.E.P.S.H.I.T seriously will have to go to EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE TRAINING (E.A.T.S.H.I.T).
Since our supervisors took S.H.I.T before they were promoted, they don't have to do S.H.I.T anymore, and are all full of S.H.I.T already.
If you are full of S.H.I.T , you may be interested in a job teaching others. We can add your name to our BASIC UNDERSTANDING LIST of LEADERS (B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T).
For employees who are intending to pursue a career in management and consulting, we will refer you to the department of MANAGERIAL OPERATIONAL RESEARCH EDUCATION (M.O.R.E.S.H.I.T) . This course emphasizes how to manage M.O.R.E.S.H.I.T.
If you have further questions, please direct them to our HEAD OF TEACHING, SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (H.O.T.S.H.I.T).
Thank you.
BOSS IN GENERAL, SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (B.I.G.S.H.I.T)

Rich or Poor?
One day a father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered: "I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks, Dad, for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.
Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!
Refresh your perspective and your appreciation.
"Life is too short and friends are too few."

OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB
Ouran High School Host Club 4) And I like the way that the moment the vase came on air, there is this arrow pointing to it. . . blinking and blinking. . . telling us that something looks like its about to happened. Haha, humor. 5) And Tamaki speaks inspirationally with rose and glitters. . . ewww~ 6) And the way Tamaki introduces the rest of the guys. . . arghgh, they all have rose-frames around them! And the glitter sound! ( >,<) 7) Well, the host-clubs seems like a tea-and-chitchat-club to me. I wun mind being a host as well (if I fit the “looks” bill in the first place, that is). 8) And~ Tamaki-kun sure has a way with the girls. . . lifting up their chins and looking into their eyes. . . then talking in those deep sexy tone. . . and surrounded (again) with roses. . . 9) Ah yes! I like the part where Haruhi came back with the INSTANT coffee. Tamaki went “Ohh! This is the type where all you need to do is to put hot water in it?” Haha so funny the way rich-people is depicted like this. . . and then everyone seemed to have gathered attention round this instant coffee and being awed by the wisdom of “commoners” who came up with such innovations since they dun have time to grind coffee-nuts. 10) And even more funny is when Tamaki said he will try the coffee, like it’s a brave act. And the audience went shocked and applauded for him. And I like the way Tamaki ask Haruhi to “make us some commoner coffee”. Wahahahahaha 11) Then there is this label “A Commoner Coffee Demo by a Commoner” as Haruhi went about pouring hot water. Damn! 12) And when the coffee is served, those rich girls were like wondering if they should drink such cheap coffee. . . wah lau~~~ 13) And Tamaki really wins the internet: “Would you drink if we went mouth-to-mouth?” again, surrounded by rose and glitters, and the girls went squeaking away~ hahahaha 14) AND I hate the broke-back mountain behaviour between Hikaru and Kaoru. . . ewwwwwwwwwwwww (>_<) brotherly love is gay. 15) Honey-kun is not cute. I could kick him if no one is looking. =p 16) And Tamaki is very funny the way he went about explaining the existence of the host club. . . the way he turn, twist, glitter, rose, pose, stroke his hair, glitter glitter glitter… oh gosh~~~ 17) And I love the part when Haruhi went “Obnoxious!” and Tamaki shrunk to a corner, white and ghastly, lonely but still with rose petal showering down. . . (where did all these petals came from anyways?) 18) And I also love the part where Honey-kun is asked to “eat the cakes, please”. Wahahahaha, I almost fall off my chair! 19) What follows is roses and roses and rose, until the part where Tamaki went “Handsome men can’t be hurt by water”. Wah lau, so over confident. 20) Hahaha, and when finally near the end when Tamaki found out she is a girl. . . the labels went “The Person who knew from the Beginning” and “People who noticed in the process”. And Tamaki went speechless. Nice humor. Haruhi is cute. But she looks better in the guy uniform (30,000 yen! That’s like S$450!!! Geez~) Well, in conclusion, apart from Honey-kun and the brotherly love twins, the humor, the over-confident pretty boy behaviour of Tamaki, the cute Haruhi and the thick vectoring style of the anime, I will watch this title. If there is one reason to offer, it’s the good humor.
“Ouran Private Academy is defined by…
one, prestigious families, and two, wealth.
And prosperous people who have much time on their hands.
Therefore, this Ouran Host Club is about…
These handsome guys who have time…
giving hospitality to these lovely ladies who also have time…
and profit off of them.”
HH insisted that she is merely asking me to help her burn DVD, not introducing me this title, so I got all the episodes in my laptop now, from her. Well, you know, curiosity killed the cat. . . and yep, I have heard of this title and I watch the 1st episode. Here’s my comments. . .
1) The opening scene AMV featuring all the characters reminded me of all those girly girly mangas characters my sis watched (yes I said “watch” a book, because my sis dun “read” the Chinese text). The guys all have HUGE eyes that make them look like girls, pointed chins and V-shaped face, ghostly-white complexion, and super long slender legs. The colours used are all pastel blue, pink, red, pastel yellow, radiating the very soft feminine feeling overall.
2) Even the clock tower (which looked like Big Ben) is pink! The school compound and interiors sure gave off the very expensive look. Everything is gigantically HUGE. . . the library shelves, the window, the chandeliers, the ceiling art, the tall walls, wide stairways. Even the school yard is so huge I was thinking I will need rollerblades or bicycle to walk from the gates to the school building. Geez!
3) Okay, then comes the scene where the lead-actor opened the door to the 3rd music class. . . Noooooooo~~~ so many rose petals!!! And the boys inside are like glittering and glittering. . . (>,<). Handsome guys dun need these glitters glitters, it makes them look too glassy and gay! No doubt the boys have good facial look, but glitters glitters dun enhances them! Or do girls really like them (glitters glitters) around guys?!

Random pictures I just wanna share~
Got nothing to do. . . so i thought i might just wanna share some of the pictures I seen...
#01: My dog, Pappy!
(I have always tell my sis that she has NO CREATIVITY in naming pets. Everything is "boyboy", "gerger", or any sound/name that has to do with the animal, then multiply by 2". My rabbit at home was initially named "Tu-tu" or "ah-Tu" until I say she has no creativity. . . so the rabbit ended up being called "Pui-pui~" (fat fat). So this Papillion (read "pa-pi-lon") is named "Pappy". *Shrug*
Well I was meddling with my camera when Pappy was at my door staring up to me. So I just snapped its picture (the flash blinded him momentarily kekeke).
#02 Big Fat Pigeon!

#03 Monster pig
#04 Albino Wallaby
No, its NOT a Kangeroo. Its a WALLABY. Well, anything comes in Albino version. Looks like a big white rat with huge feet to me.
#05 Bank in your cash?
Not for this stash of black money though. . . mixture of greenbacks, euros and mexican pesos from methamphetamine trade. . . US$ 205.6 million in cash. . .
Nah I lied! Its MY own Stash of cash! I hid it in my "other" house. =p
#06 What every office needs
Comes in Carlsberg and Tiger versions too.

#07 So cute it melts your heart.
Came across this cute little picture some time back.

#08 Palm Isle - Dubai
Not a very nice island to visit. Why? Because its filled with filthy rich people. Eww~
Where else? Japan! The hot spring is mixed with red wine ...

Project Zero: Fatal Frame II - Crimson Buttery AMV
Song title: Lovers
Song by: Kathleen Battle
Lovers Instrumental: Used in the movie "House of Flying Daggers".
Q's comment:
Wow, this is one awesome clip! Why? Because it promises to sends shivers down your spine... if you ever bother to stream the entire 06:45 mins to watch, that is.
The Fatal Frame series have been a series that I never managed to pick up enough courage (and time) to really play it. Part one was eerie enough, then comes part two with its "Strangle Ceremonial" or watever the theme is. Too eerie for me to find out, but I made a promise to myself that I WILL play this game (afterall its just a game right? (^_^") )
Another chill-factor for this AMV is the song used. For those people who can "ta-han" those super high pitch "phantom of the opera" style singing, this is one you should not miss. The pitch was so high, my laptop's speakers almost snapped as it went outta tune. Kudos to [Anne Kelly] who created this AMV; its not just an "anyhow pick a favourite song of yours and plug in all those CG clips to fill up the timing" type of AMV created. The lyrics was very very meaningful from the perspective of the 2 sisters in Fatal Frame 2, and the timing of the video was very accurate as the lyrics are being sang out (my favourite scene is 02:15).
To reiterate, the song by itself sends a chill down my spine, both physically (because of the high pitch) and psychologically (because of the eerieness of the lyrics as you watch the scenes in the video).
Watch it, and tell me if you have been spooked.

Pandora's Box
Was watching Stephen Chow's Journey to the West: Pandora Box (for the 7th time) on SCV on a certain afternoon... towards the end, Sun Wu Kong said a sentence... and this sentence was subsequently used in several other movies.
I personally find this sentence very emotionally laced, and I like it. I cannot remember the full verse, but its something like the below:
程经有一份真承的爱情摆在我眼前但我却没有珍惜。。。
等到失去了却后悔莫急。。。
世上最痛苦的事莫愧于如此。。。
如果老天能让我再来一次,我会对她说“我爱你”。。。
若要在这句话套上一个期限, 我希望是一万年。

Little black devil handphone beanbag... simply adorable...And I am the proud owner of this cute little handphone! Only L:9cm, W:3.5cm, 1.5cm thick!

Mother's Day
Yea~ its Mother's Day. I know (becuz HH told me before), so Sunday i took my mum to see her mum. . . xD
As usual, grandma asks for HH. So did a couple of my aunties. Wish she was here too, but I know she has her mom to accompany as well =)
Lunch was a nice buffet, i was hungry by then anyways. . .
Menu includes. . .
1) Fried-rice
2) Green Green Broccoli with Mushrooms (=__=)
3) Ebi Tempura (Yummy!)
4) Mutton Curry
5) Soon-Kuay with Sweet Sauce
6) Fried-fish with sweet & sour sauce
7) Curry Samosa (Yummy)
8) Chocolate Eclair (Yummy!)
9) Chilled Mixed-Fruit Dessert (peach/sea-coconut/pineapple/longan/cherry/nata de coco)
10) Fruit cordial drinks
Oh did I mentioned that my 4th uncle does such buffet catering for a living? so recently, all my past 3 HDB buffet were serviced by him! Next time I got buffet, I will call him too, cuz the food is good, and got money let own ppl earn better mah hor?
Whole afternoon there. . . so bored until the Chinese Vampire (Jiang-Shi) show aired. Very old film, but never failed to make people laugh. My favourite!
Well, dinner was the same buffet food too. . . (=_=) to my dismay. Ate a little before heading home.
By 6:45pm I am already at THL's place. . . there for dinner outing.
Ended up we called-in KFC and watch The Condor Heros (i was so~ tempted to write "God-Eagle-Swordsmen-Couple xD ).
3-guys on THL's bed eating KFC and watching TV - one of the few things in life you will remember for a long time~ scandalous. . .

TRIPLE KILL!!!
Saturday began in the afternoon; simply becuz I slept until the sun shines on my butt. . . =p
Boring day becuz HH is busy at work to accompany me to Sim Lim to buy DVDs (yes i burnt up all 25 pcs of my DVDs, mostly on Bleach; and without HH, I am simply Fluffly lost without plans).
Its only until evening time did Honda called for DoTA session. YES! I've been waiting for this opportunity to put all my practice into actual combat! Muahahaha~ I was on auto-BLOODLUST mode the moment I stepped into H.I.G.H., I could smell blood in the air. . . I couldn't wait to kill. And you've guess it, I chose all the super-nukers.
Venomancer was the first character for the first game, chosen becuz its one of the few characters you can go one-on-one and sure-win. Instead of the usual item-built, I went out solely on Tangos and Clarity, just to last that little longer with sufficient mp for 3 nukes.
It paid off - FIRSTBLOOD by level 3 by me! xD
Next game was even better - I chose LUNA - one of the characters you wish you will never bump into alone if you're in the opposite team.
Heres what happened:
Saw Honda's Omni-Knight approach me head-on. . .
My LUNA's "Eclipse" just reach its maximum of level 3 with its cool down at 98%. . .
Then Dragon-Knight (enemy too) came up from my bottom right. . .
My finger is already on turbo-speed pressing the shortcut button for 99% cooled "Eclipse". . .
Then Hongren's Bone Fletcher appeared on my top left outta his wind-walk to ambush me. . .
Yes, they planned to gang up on me. . . but. . .
"Dong~!" (Birds-Chirps and the moonlight came channeling down forcefully on all 3 of them...)
Die. . .
Ownage. . .
Double-Kill. . .
TRIPLE-KILL!!!
