the Waraku Japanese Restaurant @ the Iluma Shopping Centre has these cute mascot outside their door... I couldn't resist getting my picture taken with them... ^^ the Iluma Shopping Centre is also known as "the new shopping centre at Bugis" by the locals... ^^
04 May 2009 @ Tampines Polyclinic~ went there to see a doctor for my problematic right eye... (nope, dun think Sharingan /Byakugan /Rinnegan), so I could get a referral to a specialist~ the Swine Flu outbreak had the Polyclinic souped up their health checks at the door... everyone heading in got to have their temperature taken... so I queued all the way around the building for a hour before finally getting inside...
05 May 2009 @ Blk 201 Tampines~ the Roast Pork + Char Siew Rice at the hawker centre "upstairs" is very good~ go during peak hours and you could find yourself 15mins in the queue~
@ Ang Mo Kio Central Hawker Centre... Hokkien Mee here rocks~
8:31pm... back home...Gonna start working on this little project... Wood plank from IKEA, Spot light from IKEA, T5 light tube from Hardware shop, and a plug head...

1:27pm... bought a longer wire for my little project... the one used yesterday was too short for the measurement...

4:45pm... finally completed~
5:38pm... hooking up the wirings and testing it... successful~!!
Evening @ the coffeeshop along Serangoon Road where the famous Punggol Nasi Lemak is sold... this stall inside the coffeeshop sells very good Hong Kong style Chee Chong Fun~ must try~

@ Junction-8~ spotted the long lost Kaya Cake at the Subway Niche~ so nostalgic~! I love these cakes so much that I've been searching for them for so long already~ didn't spare a second digging out money for one of these...
Dinner was at Junction-8 Food Court... there, I was taken in by this professional-looking chef doing the 刀削面 ... watch as he skillfully slices the dough into the boil soup~ but... on closer look, he wasn't using a knife... its a special tool meant for slicing dough... Fail.
Here's the 刀削面 ... perhaps I didn't know how to appreciate such dish... but I was sharing this bowl of noodles with my girlfriend and both of us didn't even ate half of it... Yuck~
@ the Arcade~ oh oh~ remember the Safari Zoo game? Where you'll choose a ranger, drive a jeep around, chase after some animals, and catch them using a net? I've been playing this game for so long, but I always failed in catching that Legendary White Lion at the final stage...
Well, this time, I caught the Legendary White Lion~! Finally completed the game!
8:23pm... back home... finxing the wirings in place with cable clips...

also bought this Magic Pot at COURTS... this fella works wonder, I've got one already, and I came here to buy another~ its a good vacuum pot that keeps your food hot the whole day~

13 May 2009New Prawning Pond along East Coast... the banner along the road reads: "Prawn. Lobster? ... ". Notice it never states "Lobster" with a full-stop? Well, I wasn't sure whether there are really lobsters in the pond... but I did see many lobsters in fish tanks around the pond... well, all I can say is, I stood there for a good 10 mins and there was minimal activity there, if not nil.

@ East Point NTUC supermart...I dunno if they were trying to make fun of "Kuma" or not... but these slightly blackish species of tomatoes are called "Kumato"...
also caught my attention were these Roselle Fruits... I remember buying a bottle of herbal tea that is a mixture of Cactus and Roselle Fruit juices... yucky~
oh~ I love kiwi Fruits~ the Golden ones are especially sweet~! Kiwi fruits offers one of the highest calcium supplements and these fruits really gives you a good night sleep if you consume them 1 to 2 hours before bed... try it~
the day's purchase @ NTUC...
also caught Mr. Group sleeping at the corner of the fish tank... I wonder if its in someone's stomach already...
7:12pm... spotted this interesting looking motobike at the junction... the frame looked like a BMX body...
7:32pm @ Tampines Safra Sakura restaurant... Cheng Hun's giving us a treat cuz we're helping him out as "Brothers" at his wedding in a couple of days~
right beside the Sakura Restuarant is another cafe where you can play board games of many varieties... I was especially attracted to its massive collection of MONOPOLY...Fantastic Four...

I am an Ebi Tempura fanatic... I think I ate at least 10 pieces of these stuff that evening...
9:50pm... done spray-painting all the materials...
11:57pm... finally done~ a little rack for a fan... ^^ next is to take it out for another round of spray-paint to finish up~
15 May 2009@ East Point Shopping Centre... spotted this Fruits Vending Machine... interesting... I wonder how long these fruits can last with the sun shining directly onto them...
@ Marina Square GV... Watching Angels and Demons... I think the Da Vinci Code is better...
